The question is asked "are
you suitable as a potential guardian?" It is not intended to question
anyone's good intentions, rather to ask you to think about the question,
consider all that is involved, and then answer yourself honestly.
I ask you to be honest in your
reply, only because too many GSD's end up at some Rescue Centre.
Those who pick up the pieces have a difficult and up hill task some
times before the GSD is fully recovered. (Some never do!) Once affected
it can take many hours of devoted care to nurse a "damaged" GSD
back to full confidence.
Something so magnificent, loyal and loving
should be treasured!
Ownership of any breed of dog carries with
it certain responsibilities, which may increase depending upon the
breed. In the case of the German Shepherd, it is my belief such
responsibilities are increased on account of two principal factors.
