Age at time of taking home?

Most breeders I think would agree not before 8 weeks. Earlier than 8 weeks is I think to be avoided. They need still to be with Mum! Resist the temptation, they will be with you soon enough!

Important things you may need when Mutt arrives:

Cage
Make sure you get one large enough for when your mutt is adult size, also worth seeing if the same cage is suitable to fit in your car for future journeys.

Bedding
Lots of products available - choice is yours! - My only comment is be sure it's washable!

Collar
Nylon web with adjustable buckle will fit the bill in the beginning.
